Ticket Sale: VT Trip10/25/07, 7am; UC Lower Lounge
Tickets for the annual Cat 5-sponsored football trip go on sale at 7am in the UC Lower Lounge. There are 46 ticket packages available for the Virginia Tech trip that include round trip airfare to Blacksburg from 11/16/07 to 11/18/07, a two-night hotel stay, one game ticket, busing to and from both the game and the airport, a t-shirt, and various other free stuff. Tickets will go quickly and students will likely camp out, so get in line early! Tickets will be available to students only (you must present your Cane Card) and will cost $250; cash only. If you have a preference for hotel roommate, please stand in line together. Contact Tony or Justina for more information.

Ticket distribution for UVA game (11/10/07)
10/29/07, 9am; UC Ticketmaster
Due to high demand, all students who wish to attend the last UM home game in the Orange Bowl (on 11/10/07 vs. Virginia) are required to get a free ticket from the UC Ticketmaster location. Bring your Cane Card; once it has been swiped, you will receive a student ticket that will get you into the UVA game. If you are a senior, you will also receive something special which will get you into the Senior Walk area in the East (open) Endzone before the game. These tickets will be distributed starting on Monday, 10/29, and will continue to be distributed as long as supplies last. Tickets are free, but each student is allowed only one ticket. You must also bring your Cane Card to the Orange Bowl, as you'll be required to show it to confirm that you're a student.
***YOU CANNOT GET INTO THE ORANGE BOWL FOR THE FINAL HOME GAME WITH JUST YOUR CANE CARD -- YOU MUST HAVE A STUDENT TICKET TOO!***

Baseball Alumni Game

Celebrate Homecoming with the baseball team as the team plays its annual alumni game. Watch current and former Canes play an exhibition game against each other before heading over to catch the Homecoming parade, the boat burning, and the concert on the Green. The list of attendees includes many current and former Major League Baseball players, such as Ryan Braun and Pat Burrell.

Come out to the OB for our Homecoming Game against the NC State Wolfpack. We will be painting faces and spraying hair orange and green outside the student section, as well as giving out Crocs and taking Hummer rides around the Orange Bowl. We will be painting faces at the entrance, and we'll also be raffling off a chance to ride in the Cat 5 Hummer for the Saturday game. Football Spring Game

The annual Spring Game is upon us! Make the trek up to Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale to get a good look at YOUR Canes football team in its spring scrimmage. The scrimmage is free to the public and starts at 10am, with the gates opening at 9am. There'll be tons of free stuff and an autograph session with the players as well. Category 5 will be running a bus up to the stadium for students if you don't wish to drive; please email umcategory5@gmail.com with your name and C-Number by Wednesday to reserve your seat! Cat 5 ELECTION Meeting

Come out to the SIXTH Cat 5 meeting of the semester, where we will be holding elections! Members who have attended at least two meetings or helped out at two of our events are eligible to vote for chair and vice chair for next year. This special meeting will be short, so come on out and VOTE!
